Eurotrip 2005
01.02.06 (7:07 am)   [edit]
OK, it's been a while since I've posted.

I was in Dublin, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona (plus some side trips to Cork, Rugen and Priorat) for 3 and a half months.
So here's a picture of me with my new ball in Dublin at Christhcurch,

In Berlin in front of the Reichstag. I loved the schwimbads in Berlin. Lots of them, and nice for kids.

Breastfeeding at Notre Dame. We weren't in Paris long. Mostly we hung around with Gabe.

and in Barcelona playing on the beach with Malia.

In Europe, I learned to like complicated cheeses and play football (soccer).

Birthday Party Bash
07.07.05 (7:26 pm)   [edit]
My birthday party was a lot of fun. My grandparents Jill and Roger and Lari came to visit. I played in the pool with Finn and Takumi and Mance and lots of kids.

I ate falafels and samosa's. I went under the tent to play with Mia. And Dorel and Ricardo showed up to play music and sing Happy Birthday for everyone! It was a blast.

Hawaii, Miami and California
07.07.05 (7:24 pm)   [edit]
OK, I know it's been a long time since I've posted. I've been to visit my mom's grandparents in Hawaii and my dad's grandparents in Miami and California since then.

I learned to crawl when I got back from Hawaii and I got the knack of walking in California in June.

Visiting friends and friends visits
10.25.04 (12:10 am)   [edit]
We went to visit Bill Wetzel and Liz Barry for brunch. Daddy cooked tofu. I liked the cat they were sitting. Afterwards we saw a lot of motorcycles, it was the memorial for Indian Larry.

We went to Madison Square Park to meet Carol, Paula and Mckenzie who's a couple years older than me. On the way to the city, we sometimes see musicians in the subway playing the mandolin and the guitar.( I realy like to watch music, as long as it isn't too loud. )

Susan Sumida came to visit us - we went to Central Park and had a picnic, where we bumped into Rebecca and Gilad. Mommy fed me in the park. She's a lactivist. Also we went to Thompkin's Square park, where we watched the Circus Amok.

Sarah Walton and Meena Jeenarain came by to visit on my 3 month birthday. Meena cooked kitri and taught Mommy how to make it just right.

I grew from 16 pounds to 18 1/2 pounds on the last month, learned to sit up on my own, and now I can do push-ups. So if you see me eating and sleeping a lot, that's why!

Here's a little video of me trying to crawl, but I couldn't quite get it right. Maybe next month. And mom filmed me smiling in my sleep, I guess I was having good dreams.

My Namkaran
09.21.04 (6:09 am)   [edit]
On September 7th, Mommy and Daddy made a fun and happy ceremony for me, and invited all their friends to it. All my grandparents came - from Florida, New Jersey and Hawaii. Auntie Camille Diamond officiated the ceremony, and uncle Nilabja Bhattachary played the sitar.

I realized I was rich when everyone shared a blessing they brought for me out loud. For lots of pictures, click.

Brooklyn Baby Hui
09.21.04 (5:36 am)   [edit]
Every week, in Williamsburg, I get together with other babies to do yoga and have lunch. If you'd like to join us go to Brooklyn Baby Hui on Yahoo Groups. Anyone can sign up. There's pictures and stuff too.

Babies for Peace
08.31.04 (8:20 am)   [edit]

On August 29th, I decided to tell the world that peace was the only answer. I know that all the grownups who go off to war used to be just like me, but they forgot how simple and happy life was. So I want out on the street to remind them.

Me and my friends
08.01.04 (7:08 pm)   [edit]
This is me and chad (David Brown Jr.). We first met when we were in our mommy's bellies at the Roosevelt Birthing Center class.

Here's me and Mia. She's only 1 day old. Isn't she cute? I taught her everything I know.

My visit to Dr. Kligler

It's my Visitor Gallery
07.21.04 (5:13 am)   [edit]
Jake Hakanson was my first visitor, when I was 1 day old. Look how small I was!

Oliver from mommy's SELP and Jolie came by a couple weeks ago. Jolie (18 months) was the first baby I ever met!

Kim Click & Keanu came from Hawaii to visit me when I was a week old. They expecting a hapa baby (like me) soon.

Joe is Kim's friend and a fabulous chauffer.

Mommy's friend from Fred/Alan, Inc. Carol Forsythe, came by to say hello and play with me.

Daddy's friend and business partner, Mike Krebs, came by to work on the new linux server. At the time, I was very hungry.

Just before Mike left, Lydia knocked on the door. She was fun. We all went up to the roof deck to se the sunset. We chatted with Rebecca from next door. I really like going up to the roof.

I was rehearsing for my upcoming music video, and daddy made a movie of it, so here it is for your viewing pleasure. Click here if that one doesn't work.

A Trip to the Park
07.17.04 (2:53 pm)   [edit]
Today I bought a new hat, and mom and dad brought me to the park. We took a bunch of pictures.

Grandma Lari, Grandmom Jill & Uncle Mikey
07.15.04 (6:28 pm)   [edit]
Grandma Lari helps out so much. She stayed with us for a whole month, keeping the place clean and my mommy and daddy well fed.

Grandmom Jill came for when I was born, and then she came again today, my 3 week birthday.

Uncle Mikey and Devon came two days ago, and we played for a while. Then we all went into the city and I walked around with daddy while mommy got a massage.

5th Day
06.29.04 (7:38 am)   [edit]
Yesterday, the doctor pricked my heel and I cried for a long time. Then I went home and slept off all that effort.

But today, a visiting nurse came for a checkup. She said I was big and healthy. I was nice the whole time and never cried once.

Most of the time, I'm happy because my mommy loves me so much.
